Last weeks i had some problems with downloading maps (for ET). When i downloaded a map (for example mp_assault_rc1), my computer says its a .zip file, and not a .pk3 file. So i thought the .pk3 was inside it. I unpacked the zip file. No pk3 file inside it.
So i downloaded other maps from different sites. Same problem. They all were .zip files and no pk3. But yesterday i found out whats wrong. When i download a pk3 file, my computer change it into a zip file, strange enough. So i changed the file back (in winrar) to a .pk3 file, and now it works. Maybe some guys may have ze same problem, this is the solution

or simply dont use IE

When you download a pk3 in ie, it asks what type of file you want to save it as, and by default it's zip :!:
