Hey guys. Just went out and bought Half Life 2 (+ CS:source ) but I have a problem.

That pointless little app 'Steam' (I mean, whats wrong with just having HL2 like a regular game) seems to be blocking my internet connection.

Cant browse, or nowt, on that computer (Although the other networked computer browses fine)

Have so far ruled out ISP blocking, firewall blocking, card settings, and drivers. (We're also using SP1 XP and not SP2) Anyone else experience the same thing?

I have my steam app to ask for password before i can start any hl2 games so its never running in background.
when it loads uncheck remember my login if ya cant do that ask for lost password i think you can do it from there.
Probably wont help but cant hurt to try
