wot a day.. this morning the database crashed.. This is where all forum + site data is stored. The feckers of the ISP werent very helpfull so we are considering switching provider as no one couldnt guarantee that this will happen again. Tnx gary for the support

For the techies: the mysql databse tables got corrupted and after a 'repair' it only got worse. We did make some backups but because of some unknown reason they were half and therefor useless. The last good backup was made by damian on october 2004. Since there is no shell access we manual had to add the hundred thousands of sql records in the DB with copy + paste. Tnx damian!

The front site got hit bad worse, there we went back for a few months more.. But tnx to Al and Lori we were able to get all our members back on the list. If you are in fP and not there contact one of the site admins asap. All passwords have been reset so get those again too.

If u registered on the forum in the last 2 months please register again. I hope the damage isnt too bad since we lost 2 months but lets make those topics again! Tnx for the waiting and enjoy your stay here

Good comms by Lori changing your IM name was a good move I wouldnt have know otherwise until I visisted the page at about 10ish but saw it at around 8am and started to look what happened.

Was a crappy mess, but we got it sorted and as Lead said we are now looking at changing ISP.
