Website: Idea's for the site

Post ideas for the site here, like how can we make it better or new features. Whoever can help make them is welcome

Some small ideas:
- A clock calculator where people can enter the time in GMT or their local time and convert it to another timezone.
- An image / file uploader which people can link files on the forums. With a http-referer check it can only be used for fP site.

Let me know if u wanna help and if u want i can give access to the development site.

Just an idea....maybe on the front page we can do a kind of small movie...instead of lama song (however its really nice lol!)

Whant kind of movie? about [fP], about Et, Rtcw, CoD and frags etc...

I like the site as it is. Just needs a new banner as pointed out already.

The only thing i dont like is the frontpage you get before the main page. You type the site addy in and then have to click through another page to get to the site. Just my opinion though

I have had this pointed out to me before by people who I have done sites for.

But great job and its nice to see regular updates $\o/$

Shortie, sort out the headline for ur weekly update thing, they always merge.

yep video would be good of funny stuff and good scores/play in both cod and et!!

get rid of the llama song, its rubbish imo.

also in the forums, and the posts in the threads be upside down, eg the newest posts in a thread are at the top and not the bottom, this will eliminate the need to scroll down everytime a person opens the thread!

Tnx for the positive input so far

Stylesheet errors will be fiixed soon including the news headlines.

We will change the llama song to other flash animations or music.. that u think its rubbish can be but alot like it sry

A real movie will be too heavy for the front page, maybe we can put a link or on another page.

phpbb forums work this way and i think it will be harder to read cuz visitors are not used to it.

OK I can sort out the video Idea, already have a few things in mind....

I need some good demos of ET and COD to make it good so get your recording heads on and record a few of the games you play when you play, Incentive is your name in lights on the front FP page.......

If anyone wants to do this and doesnt know how to record Ill post some instructions here in a while......

The track is chosen already and it will be very cool with some good game video to play alongside it so come on.......

We should make a new frame to on the right side. Would be able to put more information on the main site (summin like "pic of the week", affliliates, popular links with lil pics, pools or other information. I think we dont need so many space for news as we dont use it too often.

I hope i can help u lil bit martijn, bought 2 new php5 books and hope to find some time to study them.

The "frames" should look like ton this site:

some site changes:

- increased news font size
- added news body smileys
- changed active topics from 5 to 3

- added summary / stats paragraph and link to recruitment
- added new group 'inactive'
- renamed special to staff
