lately i have been experiencing double, sometimes triple the ping i used to have. It used to be 48 - 52, now it's 82 - 150. Also the fps drops have started to mess up my fun on DC2 (jumping from 52 - 76, almost constantly now, or for long periods of time).

I haven't changed anything apart from updating ATI drivers which could be the cause for the fps issues, but not the ping.

I did a tracert of the DC2 IP and here is the read out:

Can someone who knows these numbers (i don't), please try to interpret them and give me advice about solving this issue. I really hate playing on other servers - but i get solid 48 ping and stable fps (which makes me think again about ATI drivers being to blame) on other servers (example Hirntot).

As i can see the difference is obvious, is there anyway for me to fix this at all?

Same with me last 7-14 days i got big problems playing on dc2 haveing constant PING on 160 + fps unstable... Made same test as binary and its even worse at me...

everything is perfect on your end, but then again you're in the same country as the server

I think getting interleaving turned off (ISP do it) helps with connection, or at least it did for me

Open a ticket or email your ISP with a copy of the traceroute and they may be be able to sort u out. Happened to me couple of years back and was being routed via the west coast of USA which wasnt pretty...ISP sorted it

@ Ewan yes it does show and thanks m8 for the detailed explanation i really hope some other people read it as well - mainly people who's names ryhme with PRICK if you catch my drift thinking it's all Black or White, there's a myriad of things and factors included in this...

@ pants and razzle - thanks i'll do that, they might be able to fix this for me, would be great (i've heard of this interleaving stuff and that the ISP can solve it)

@ Zenon, pants can't give you the email, as he doesn't know your crappy ISP (T2 ) it's not like a general email address for all ISP's so, just write an email to the pricks over at T2 with a copy of your tracert and ask for a fix.
