Hi, yesterday a player asked on the fp server to run ET@1920x1080: set r_mode "-1" // -1 = custom set r_customWidth "1920" // Screen Width set r_customHeight "1080" //Screen Height set r_aspectRatio "-1" // 0=4:3, 1=16:9, 2=16:10, 3=5:4, -1=custom set r_customAspectRatioH "16" // horizontal set r_customAspectRatioV "10" // vertical (I needed the 2 last commands by installing ET@a Win7 PC to run 1920x1080 correctly) set r_displayrefresh "60" or "120" hz, what your monitor supports. Exactly the resolution of my monitor but ET crashed with an OpenGL error when I use the correct resolution... I have it set at: seta r_customheight "900" seta r_customwidth "1280" seems to be the highest I can go without crashing the game. |

Hi Nubbinz, and you have set the r_mode -1 command and other commands right to your etconfig/autoexec ? What graphic card do you use? Is the mistake like: "could not load openGL subsystems" ? I found this: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showth ... p=17115944 Greetings ZyliXX |

Hi, those last 3 commands do NOT exist on ET engine (r_aspectRatio, r_customAspectRatioH and r_customAspectRatioV), so there's no need to use them. All you need are the first 3. Also, I recommend letting r_displayrefresh at 0 because it will automatically use your desktop refresh, unless you find some problem where you need to actively let the game force it. |
