So i made my youtube channel and my first video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3f4tA0gJK8

I plan on making more videos and not just frags but also funny moments, TJ's, tricks and so on. It's just something to keep my sanity while staying on one year long sick leave. Just don't expect me to put videos there every week. My calendar is still very much full of stuff, mostly hospital and doctor visits and that is how it'll be for rest of my life.

I did encounter some problems with youtubes own encoder. Have a look at this. There are two moments where this happens in youtube video and it basically blurs out whole picture for almost one second. I wonder if this only happens with 60fps videos. Nothing like that happens in my original video file.

Thanks guys. Channel still very much under construction. I think i found out what's causing this blurriness in youtube. I'll re-upload my video tomorrow and hopefully it'll work better. Also one new video is on the way and ziggystardust and player called NinDja are starring on it more than me. Ziggy probably knows what it is but all i can say is it's not about fragging.

Another wasted day in hospital. It was supposed to be only 3 hours of cyclophosphamide dropping but took 9 hours and many broken veins. Time to say goodbye to my hair.

Newest video is hidden because it suffers most from this youtube blurring problem. I just can't find a solution for this crap, no matter what render settings i try youtube just focks up my videos. It would be fun to make weekly videos about ET but this drivers me crazy.

Blur happens at 0.00, 0.05, 0.40. I'm not the only one with this problem - i notice this a lot in other videos as well and many videos made about it.

So much work to get good quality videos out of ET and then after all of that have someone spit on them. Aargh!

Perhas the blurring you're talking about is frame tearing resulting from wrong hz/fps ratio. Try r_swapinterwal 1 when you record a demo, and make sure r_displayrefresh matches com_maxfps.

Maybe try something like motion blur reduction or multiple buffering if your graphics card has such options

Here are my 3d settings for ET.

Motion blur has been taken off from image-et settings for every video since i started making them. There isn't any blur in video files itself, it only happens when they're re-encoded by youtube.

Here i uploaded the latest one so feel free to dl it and compare.

See what I'm thinking is that the demo has been recorded in such a super-ultra quality and while re-processing.....something's up with how you actually make the movie (you edit the demo in some other program, right?). I comaperd yours to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhLmP3M1Sr8 (I got both vids on hdd, so no youtube influence) and for my eye that's still something wrong with hz/fps ratio - the action in your vid seems oddly fast and it's like the frames were already drawn before they could be shown (so you get 2 frames, but in one second; it's not fps but fp1/2s:D). Is everywhere the hz/fps ratio constant? And try like 30 fps for a start.
