Just wondering what this game is like, I saw it in game and just wondered any mini reviewers out there?

QW in short ....
Gameplay is very fast paced ... picking the right class matters more than ever ... vehicles are well implemented and should be used wisely .
If u play rambo u die, if u play in a team u die too, but not as often ;D
med class sucks ... Strogg revive takes like 10 secs ... so useless in tense action. Yet Strogg got spawn host. Cvops can create a spawn point in an enemy corpse. This compensates a lot . There is no green needle afaik ... so you revive wiht 50% health. You cannot hide behind the revived u die instantly when they shoot at the "human shield" taking the revived down again with the med ...
so don't bother playing med too much.
Eng is the best class, closely followed by fdops.
Both can construct deployables such as anti personal towers or anti vehicle towers etc pp.. very nifty very important
Now to the bad:
VEEEEERY hardware hungry. You ain't got a kickass comp, forget using high details. YET, as all ET players tweaked the game for max fps and max contrast, you will likely do it in ET:QW too. Sacrificing image quality for better fps and better enemy recognition.
Interface sucks.. weapons got a pretty hefty recoil .... I for my part, cannot aim properly for the head ...
if you throw nades and know how it is being done in ET forget all about it. Nades fly for kilometers in QW. So you will have get used to it. Strafe jumping works quite well, but u can sprint unlimited, so USE IT
summa summarum: Promising game, we will see .... I only know one map, so I cannot make judgement on the map design yet ..
Although I rant a lot about QW, I will get the game for sure, as it is a nice change.

Gameplay is very fast paced which I like. At the moment its to much like quake MP rather than ET MP. This means more people than not think the maps are deathmatch and not a team based . This will probably change when I play on established clan servers.
As Tech said, the revive for the strogg is anoying but for the good guys its great. So I wouldn't say ditch medic class altogether unless your strogg. I haven't played all classes tbh as I normaly stick to Fops or medic. Fops is great as you now have more choices on artillary types to use. I don't go engy as most of the teams I have been on have about 6 xpwhore engies. This will be better in the better class of servers.
My only downsides so far are the vehicles armour. I get annoyed when a sniper blows my tank up in a couple of shots. The vehicles don't seem right to me but I have played bf2 for hours on end and probably just got use to that. I just feel the game could have done without them altogether.
All in all "SO FAR" I think its a great game, graphics are very pretty and I am liking the gameplay. Its Quake, Et and BF2 all mixed into 1 which suits me. Cant comment on map designs yet but I like what I see so far (only time will tell on this one)
P.S Some great bits NOT carried on from ET are:
-Main spawns have barriers so you don't seem to be spawnkilled as much.
-As far as I can see you can't take ammo unless you need it so no more people just spending the whole map sat in spawn dishing out ammo. Also nopeople shouting "I need ammo" when they have just spawned.
-Artillary has better markers so there is no excuse to be team killed by this, a voice also says "your in the target zone" if you cant see the markers
-I am sure theres more that I will add later when I can remember them.
